For this shyt to actually work, EVERYONE needs to be driving an autopilot car that are all linked to a central system. This way the vehicles can send signals to determine proximity with other cars, etc.

i think it's going to happen in other countries before it happens in the USA.
i'm betting that Japan, Germany, South Korea have that shyt locked down before us.
they have less infrastructure, smaller population and tech just as good if not better than ours to make the transition faster.
US will take notes and make the move when the time is right but it is inevitable.
