Anytime someone younger than I asks me questions about advice and whatnot, I've always told them to listen to their gut instinct. I'll offer my two cents but then I always end up asking them, "What was your first thought?"

That first initial response/gut reaction to a situation you're unsure of should ultimately guide you to where you want to go. Big believer in this.

Yeah the thing is that person as came thru in the pass. So Im think like:lupe:.

Im keep my eye wide open but its too many coincidences coming up.
Its definitely something up.
the PAST is not now...sometimes people do things for you so they can come back. It's mentally "leaving something at somebody's house"

I generally trust my gut on things.

But sometimes I give people the benefit of the doubt and they expose themselves a few years later.

It's some scandalous shyt, breh.

:aicmon:

If you have a met up somebody and thought "Mann this person is an a$$hole" and he turned out to be the coolest dude you ever met? ?

Or met somebody and said ,"man she's pretty good people" and she turned out to be a racist? ?

I thought one of my friends’ GF was a jerk. She’s actually pretty sweet but just quiet and reserved mostly. Actually they are married now. And have been for a long time.

I also met someone who I would have sworn was an amazing person but turned out to be quite petty.

As far as the racist thing, I had a friend that I knew in HS. Reconnected many years later. Then found out he was fond of using racial slurs as jokes. I don’t fukk with him anymore. A lot of fellow Hispanics think they can talk slick and it’s okay because they’re just playing and they’re minorities too. It’s not cool. At all.

I mean we all make mistakes and show poor judgment. Just gotta live and learn.

Yeah I was just using that as an example. Like you know years ago when I was a kid in high school there was a I guy thought he was cool and humble he turned out to be a$$hole. Years later I found out that he attempted suicide.

My point is when I first met him I thought he was cool we will wind up being friends and it was exactly the opposite.

So as I've gotten older I feel my gut feelings are a lot a lot better tuned but still not where I wanted to be.

This is something that recently I've grown to listen to in regards to friends and women. And I've grown to be on the money in terms of my gut instincts telling whether to entertain a chick or befriend a person.
