Turk was my favorite at the time....but...Juvenile sold 4 mil...BG was dropping hood classics....Wayne had the "its all about Wayne" campaign and cooked with Block is Hot...Turk dropped the ball like shyt...got himself took off Bling Bling....let Juve turn his iconic lines into a hot song....by the time Turk solo dropped, the thrill was gone...by his own admission it was his fault & the other three were better. nikkas front like Wayne was wobbledy wobbledy back then...no the fukk he wasn't

Not a “weak link” per se…but if you think about it from the perspective of a Verzuz/20 song tour set format with the main Cash Money commercial singles of that time (Bling Bling, Back Dat Azz Up, I Need A Hot Girl, We On Fire, Get Your Roll On, Project Chick, #1 Stunna, The Block Is Hot, Still Fly, etc.) I can understand the argument that Turk is the most expendable in that sense.

It was always some shyt that was mentioned on the internet on some revisionist history shyt.
In real time if you listened to them, Turk was a lot of nikkas favorites and was never looked at as some type of weak link. To be honest, Ugod is more looked at as a weak link online and in real life than Turk ever was.
What hurt Turk's legacy is that his album came out with no momentum (CMB already peaked and was on the downslide before Wayne's reemergence) and then he got lucked up. Although his tape had some gems, the overall production wasn't on the same level as previous releases. That hurt him too.
Turk was just unlucky, even then there's nikkas that done had worst careers than him.
