Turk wasnt a weak link but he def had the least stellar career of the 4. The only thing he can really hold over the other 3 is his verse on "I Need A Hot Girl". He clearly had the most memorable verse and that was his greatest moment. The other 3 had far superior careers and it isnt even close.

It was always some shyt that was mentioned on the internet on some revisionist history shyt.

In real time if you listened to them, Turk was a lot of nikkas favorites and was never looked at as some type of weak link. To be honest, Ugod is more looked at as a weak link online and in real life than Turk ever was.

What hurt Turk's legacy is that his album came out with no momentum (CMB already peaked and was on the downslide before Wayne's reemergence) and then he got lucked up. Although his tape had some gems, the overall production wasn't on the same level as previous releases. That hurt him too.

Turk was just unlucky, even then there's nikkas that done had worst careers than him.

I remember a lot of people liking Turk more than Wayne.
When that Hot Boys album came out.

In real time Turk was the least interesting. Juve was the star and had natural way of flowing that just drew people in. BG was the dude who held it down the longest and had the biggest street rep, and flow wise he was he easiest to understand. Wayne was the young kid who was good for some bouncy catchy shyt and was pretty good for a hook. Turk was just the dude who was good for a verse every now and again but that's it's.

Turk just didn't have anything that made him stand out. He was lyrically better than Wayne but he just didn't have the charisma that the other three had.

I would agree he’s the weak link, but it don’t make him trash. He just didn’t have whatever it was that made the others stand out…..

Plus you’d probably die trying a drinking game where you take a shot every time he mentioned “untamed guerilla’s/gorilla’s”

If they had to be ranked during the group run I'd have him 3rd/4th none of them were trash and Turk didn't always have the worst verse.

Turk dropped his album in June 2001...

That was a dead year for the CM since Juvenile and B.G left

2002 was a rebuilding year for CM since Bird decided to drop his debut album(had too many Jazze Pha tracks though).

Luckily, Cash Money rebounded l
