Does BJJ work on multiple attackers coming at you at once?

I'm not sure which fighting style I should endorse.
there was a video of a dude a few months ago from brazil who tried to get at some chick in a gas station, the chick denied him and he gave her a shove/slap. Then her BF and his buddies came up with a 2x4 and put dude in a coma, because obviously you can't put a 2x4 in a kimora.

If you are going to rely on a martial art.......pick your spots, and i always say if i fought a dude who knew bjj and he got me in a choke or something.....and i got out and got the upper hand, dudes getting the legendary life changing beating.

Doesn't look like a boxer to me, for some reason.. :patrice:
His 'swings' were just haymakers, it's just that they were connecting and his opponents' swings weren't...

Yet, that footwork is unmistakable.. and a few of those straights he threw were timed a little too perfectly..

hmm ...:lupe:

Jury is still out on this "boxer" :patrice:

Friend just because you know BJJ doesnt mean you shouldnt throw a punch :mjlol: Bjj in the street is more for maintaining dominant position against attrackers. Nto being taken down and or taking down an opponent in the clinch. Like you shouldnt be getting stomped out on the ground if you know bJJ unless you got Rocked and are extremly dazed. Id hope all my bjj bruhs are taking some mma classes at their schools to keep their hands crispy, but for the sake of argument,

Personally, if i had Zero hands and i knew bjj and was in peak condition i could probably handle multiple attackers that cant fight with no problem. When your body fat is low the punches you throw, really hurt, friend. There is just something to be said for athleticism. Especially when you have those bjj reflexes :youngsabo: In this footage the man is fighting men that on a scale of fighting ability range from Frail - Flabby. Throwing sloppy punches and what not. He showed good footwork by keeping them funneled into a pipe where he could just tag them one by one without being surrounded. Its not that hard to beat up multiple people that dont know what they're doing. One swing from a strong fist checks out alot of weaklings.

Now friend, if he had to fight 1 BJJ black belt or 2 boxers or even if that group of men decided they wanted to take him down instead of running into his fist this footage would have been completely different.

In conclusion this man showed skill but from a critical view, he is not fighting people that are in shape or really know how to fight, at all. They have no heart and no passion and did not want to take him to the ground, otherwise, it would have been a bad day for friend, friend.
