Eating healthy is expensive, but so worth it.
Buy ground turkey/beef/chicken and tub of spinach with two assorted bags of veggies for dinner

Eat eggs/bacon for breakfast

Spinach/diced lunch meat for lunch

Eat those things 5x a week for less than $40

Eat whatever you want on the wknd

I dropped 24 lbs off that alone along w exercise :manny:

Food was never my weakness. That beer and alcohol content is a killer. Slowly getting rid of drinking alcohol all together. The monet I'm saving so far. :wow:

I think of you exercise and use portion control you can eat anything. I can't eat strictly health foods all the time. I'm definitely not a fast food person tho. Can't see how people can eat that shyt:scust:

shyt aint' hard at all. It's called planning b.

I know where to go/what to buy when I'm out. I make my own food at home most of the time. I have go to stores from when I'm lazy. I know what foods to take when I want a nutrition boost. Like this morning I didn't have breakfast at home so I just stopped at Trader joes and bought a bottled protein vegan smoothie that's made with chai tea, almonds, coconut and spices. I got a bag of chips that are basically Pita Chips with Pumpkin Seeds and Cranberry. For lunch I have leftover Malaysian Curry(Vegatables/Tofu) with brown rice. When I get home I got leftover haitian food. I'll probably drink a cup of water with a teaspoon of ACV later. All in all I do something to this effect daily. Grocery shopping on Friday/Saturday to have meals to cook.

It's difficult starting off... I used to consume Chinese food, burgers, fried chicken, etc on a daily basis because the food is usually cheap. I weighed about 230 at the time and just looked completely out of shape & sluggish.

I slowly started replacing foods... started to only eat lean meats like chicken (not fried) & Fish & eggs. After a while I started to enjoy making different dishes based around those foods and eventually learned to really like salads with chicken, fish or eggs in them.

California has Costco & Smart&Final that sells whole cooked chickens for $5 & vegetables are cheap.

Now all I eat is chicken salads, fish served with salads & egg based meals as well. I went from 230 to 175 in 3 months while doing cardiovascular exercises. I've maintained that weight and at one point didn't exercise nor go to the gym for a year just to see if I could maintain it & for an entire year just eating clean I was able to maintain 175.

At one point I had to stop going to the gym and had to eat fatty foods again because I dropped too much weight, down to 145 but once I hit around 175 again I just stayed with the same regime of foods.

Even now if I go eat somewhere I always substitute beef or pork with chicken & have grown to actually love chicken salads & fish.

Clean Eating = Clean Body
Lean Foods = Lean Body
