I’m about 8 days in from not eating sweets and it hasn’t got any easier and my energies are lower, can anybody help me with some tips, before I turn to energy drinks with 0 sugar.

Nah I used to eat candy and pineapple chunks within the hourjust copped 2 bags of sour gummies
maybe try something good for you but also enjoyable to eat like pineapple chunks
Nah I can drink a whole bottle of orange juice in one sitting it’s bad manJuice sweet fruits.
I’ve been in the gym 4-5 times a week since I moved to Atlanta and it hasn’t made it better and all I have done is tone up some and gain more stamina but my appetite for sugar hasn’t changed. I just did the Peachtree road race last month which is a 10kI used to eat a lot of candy and drink a lot of juice
Atleast 2-3 bags of hairbo and trolli snacks a day
Eventually I just started taking sports more serious and held me sugar intake to powerade
I don’t think you should cold turkey it, I’d say limit yourself to two bags a week and see if u can slowly reel back. This is one of the few situations I actually recommend the gym
i think you should go in phases
I started with sugar in drinks. Went to zero sugar options or tried to sub in water as much as possible. (Cut the alcohol too)
Then I added in more fruit over time. I'll grab a movie box of candy ever so often but it got a lot better.
Yeah I’ve been trying zero sugar drinks but it hasn’t killed my intense want for sugar stuff. I’m scared I’m going to relapse even harder soon and kill the progress .Dont stop, start by moderating your sugar consumption until you can change to a better alternative. As others said fruits, zero sugar drinks etc. If you drink tea in the morning, drink it without sugar. I pretty much have mind control over my consumption of processed sugar and can choose when I want a bottle of c0ke or a tall cup of water. You dont want to stop consume sugar, you want to stop the cravings.
