How to Start a Successful Liquor Brand - flow

If you want to keep costs down I suggest not manufacturing yourself......

The best Vodka is made in Russia , If it were me I would source a manufacturer in Russia that makes cheap vodka, buy wholesale slap my own brand name on it and look for distributors....

red bull dont actually make red bull.

:wow:

exactly what I came in to say. Buy a case from Russia and push it that way

Exactly....

I would find a factory that manufactures cheap name brand vodka for supermarkets for example.....

who the wants to spend money on factory, equipment, premises, staff , buying raw materials and then going through the drama of trying to produce a product that actually tastes good, plus all the regulations concerning the manufacture of alcohol

If you wanna do this...you won't be manufacturing the vodka...I assuming you don't have the money for it and you don't wanna risk going to jail...

Find a vodka you can white label...

Pay someone to design the packaging and etc..

And then read some books on marketing and brand building and hustle your vodka.

This is the exact point a few of us have made.....

for me marketing is the key.... If and its a big If, they have the financial resources I would actually hire a marketing firm that could handle positioning etc....

The market is saturated (as with everything else) and you would really need your product to stand out

You need to start product development on a small scale.....do you have a garage or utility unit where u can produce your product?

Because its gonna be very costly and wasteful to seek a distillery to subcontract your work if you haven't done some in house production

I knew a white boy who started out making homemade vodka I met at my past job.moonshine and wine at his mom's garage the equipment was affordable he got it off ebay followed some youtube tutorialson and went to some craft convention with SAMPLES and is now courting the attention of big time distributors who will split costs of distilling the liquor
Mad confused now. Y'all saying 2 different things

Which one is the best course of action

its two different people.... we have different points of view

do you have money to build a distillery
buy the raw materials
employ workers
rent a premises
go through the process and cost of rigorous testing before you get the final product
do you have the expertise
do you know the legalities involved in manufacturing alcohol?

to me its easier and mush more cost effective to find a manufacturer and slap your own branding on the bottle

Op the main thing is making your vodka stick out..

Nobody is give a shyt if it is the best vodka ever if they don't like your brand.

Nobody is gonna care whether you made it or not.

So why spend money on making your shyt, when you gonna need money to market and promote?

You get your vodka known, then if you want l, you can actually manufacturer it.
