I messed my first build up bad , forgot to follow the directions to put the mobo on stand offs... Ruined the entire mobo ... This was when amd had then phenom x2 that could turn into quad cores

Back in '99 I think it was... my joint didn't start.. turned out the heatsink wasn't good
Another time in '02 .. I had bent one of the pins on the CPU...

other than those 2 times.. I been good.. I retired in 13 from building when I built my 14TB server.. the technology and prices hit a point where it seems like it cost me more to build.. I bought about 4 all-in-ones since..

people eventually had to move on from floppy drives as well.

It's over for Optical Media on the PC.

The mounting screws? I forgot that for the comp I'm currently on now. Luckily, the mobo is a Gigabyte that prevents it from shorting but it could've gone south quick

you learn from your mistakes

i forgot to put the brass stands on as well but it did not ruin my mobo, it just didn't start up.
after i put them on it was fine.

i would have been pissed if it fried my board.
i got lucky i guess.

The amd gpu have better value I couldn't do a 750 ti other then that this is a good buildi

Yeah that's the only issue I have is that 750ti ,

380r9's are about 169 after $20 MIR.

Yea I got a 390 in my current system I couldn't see using a 970 that cost more and has less Vram. The drivers not even bad as people say they are.
