Seriously? Jail/prison is a reward over the death penalty. You get pleasure in jail/prison (living); you get none, dead.

I dont believe in an afterlife, so death is the end of his pain. Living and rotting away in jail is far worse IMO.

But in my mind he's a small dude who's an enemy of the state so I feel like he's going to have a very hard time from both the inmates and the CO's and I would guess he's going to be in isolation for a long time. That kind of torture is worse than a quick death IMO. I guess it all comes down to what you think you fear worse.
