For the same reasons @Golayitdown said.
Excellent wrestler. Terrible draw. I just finished watching WWF 96 and he is a terrible face. Plus if he didn't have back problems in early 98 he probably wouldn't have dropped the WWF title to Austin.
Idk about that breh, all accounts say everyone in the WWF at that time knew Austin was the next nikka up. Cokeboy was hitching the company wagon to SCSA and it wouldn’t have mattered what a healthy HBK wanted. Mr. MackMan would’ve gotten that belt off HBK by either giving him that Bret energy back or Taped Fist Taker making Shawn do business at WM 14 (and beating the hell out of Patterson in Gorilla before
)I love HBGOAT, but what was he gonna do? Go to WCW and get fed to Hoegan to placate Terry’s ego?

) to the rotation if we evaluating the big big names

It's been proven with numbers and facts that Shawn was the best draw in the mid 90's and the company almost sank in 1995 not 96 and HBK didnt become champ until 1996. Bret Hart was the champ and he was the worst draw he was so bad they took the belt off of him and put it on BOB FUKKIN BACKLUND IN 1995 then they had to put it on Diesel because Bret couldn't draw a dime. Diesel couldn't draw either and Shawn was having match of the night every night and was the only thing worth watching during this time period. Then they put the belt on HBK in 1996 and the ratings went way up this is a fact look it up. The Raw ratings doubled and were setting record highs when HBK was champ up until about June of 1996 when the NWO was formed which sparked the greatest boom in wrestling history. WTF was Shawn supposed to do going against the NWO when he was feuding with the British Bulldog
. So of course the ratings went down but they never dropped to 1995 numbers when Bret was champ.
in this thread over a poll.

we could do a "hogan pre-knowledge of 'cism" thread
whenever great value Ziggler tries to imitate it.
