Just a menacing figure who could just hurt his opponent with one of his overhand forearms. First gaijin to go over in Japan. A super heavyweight of his size that just doesn't even exist anymore. If only he could've handled his weight problem while in the WWE, he could've been a long standing champion. And he was marketable as fukk in the 90's.

Karl Gotch is the godfather of puro. Lou Thesz made it popular by losing to Rikidozan. And the Funks were the first gaijins to be turned babyface by the crowd in the late 70's. Then you have Brody, Abby, Shiek and Hansen.

Always liked this match funny this was supposed to be Sid's big face hurrah but the scissors shyt happened haha at these Disney tapings I remember being hyped for Vader vs Sid in 93
