Great personality & promos as Big Poppa Pump, amazing wrestler up until '94 or so. Too bad the personality/promo work and ring work never coexisted with each other or he'd probably be the GOAT.

• Sucked as a Face, GODLY as a Heel
• Really came into his own near the end of WCW, with the Chainmail
• Was very good in the ring
• Was a fukking SAVAGE against Hogan before he got busted
• Only downside was, was that he wasn't a true draw

One of the best wrestlers in the world in early 90s. One of best charCters in 2000s.

Def a 9 overall. Not gon fault him on falling off they all do. At his best hes a 9/10 legend. 10/10 reserved for a select few and hes JUST out that range.

10 overall.
He had the attitude, the ability, the look, & mic skills. He transitioned a dead end "White Thunder" gimmick into Big Poppa Pump & took off. Hell, his tenures in Japan alone puts him in the Hall Of Fame. His back injuries is what slowed his in-ring work down.

10. Arguably the GOAT. He's a top 5 promo to me, not everyone should be "This Sunday brother, etc" hyping things up. He got his character across very well and made me laugh a lot while also being intense as hell.

Everything he lacked in the ring, he made up in spades everywhere else. And it's not like he's a chump in the ring.

The Big Poppa Pump character is one of my favourites ever. A very underrated character look at it.
His work rate was better than most. He really was the father of bulking muscular guys doing flippy shyt.
Him and Rick were unbelievable in the ring. Get him as American Alphas mentor.
He's unintentionally funny on the mic, from flexing at whomever is interviewing him to pose offs when he tagged with Buff. I'm shocked he only won the heavyweight title once in WCW (meanwhile Jarrett had it four times )

Should be in the hall of fame with his brother. I give him an 8.
