I forgot about Col Parker being their manager in the beginning...smh thankfully that shyt was put to an end before the wargames match .

and yes Sista Sherri worked well with Harlem Heat. She handled the "we coming for you nikka" segment like a champ.

Harlem Heat was stereotypical as fukk breh...they even came out with a white slave master type manager at one point lol...you are right tho it wasnt as bad as in the E where all the black wrestlers had to be some dancing athletic type.

You're talking about Harlem Heat's original gimmick as Kole and Kane that got nixed immediately.

 

[Nero Christ]

JYD was before my time and I've never ventured into wwf in the 80's so I can't rate stuff like matches and feuds for him but he is one of the most recognizable names in wrestling and to do it in the time he did it as a black man earns my full respect. A true legend in wrestling

 

[Bob Loblaw]

I've gone back and watched his matches from the mid south DVD and episodes on the network. He was dope. Didn't have a lot of moves but could work. Great promo

 

[James Dean]

-Mic work/promos 5. Not much to say here but his trademark dog yell is iconic. Could get the crowd riled up.

-Personality/gimmicks 9. This was his strong suite. Nuff said. JYD was nothing but a fun personality.

-Ring work (along with some of your favorite matches/feuds) 7. He was actually pretty solid coming up. In the WWF, he fell back a bit and let his gimmick speak for himself.

-Overall rating (which doesn't have to be an average of the above scores) 7.
