The only reason he gets more than a 1 is because Tommy Dreamer got a 1 because I couldn't give him a 0

-Mic work/promos - was def nothing special in this area 2

-Personality/gimmicks - Steve Austin owes his career resurrection in the WWE to him for biting his gimmick; sandman also deserves props fine tuning himself into a drunken kendo stick swinging fool from originally having an actual surfer gimmick ..6.5

-Ring work (along with some of your favorite matches/feuds) - Sandman is the perfect example of angles (and on occasion better workers) masking his ring work. sloppy as all hell but he had plenty of fun matches (whipwreck, austin, public enemy, raven, dreamer, cactus jack etc)...his tag team with 2 cold scorpio surprisingly worked..those nikkas were entertaining...in wcw though where he couldn't do all the hardcore stuff..got his mediocrity exposed big time 4

Sandman was another product of Paul E's unbelievable ability to get someone like this over..was not the best worker but he played his role well..plus surprisingly he's also a millionaire and handled his money very well..who would have thought?...give him a 4 overall

I'd say a 5. He was sloppy af in the ring but it added to his character because he was drunk. I never looked at Sandman and expected a 5 star match but he provided plenty of entertaining moments. His feud with Raven was top notch and at the same time. Plus the Tommy Dreamer feud was good too. Sandman impressed me with his dedication. Dude stayed home for a month because he was "blind" from a cane shot to the eye and didn't even answer the door. No way that happens today. Kayfabe is dead for the most part.

+1 for an authentic entrance. Enter the Sandman is piff and fit him perfectly

Typical white drunk dude bussing his head wide open crushing some beer cans.

Heyman must've thought he was stone cold.

Perfect example why I thought ECW would've never made to that next level(outside of just the extreme stuff).

For every dope wrestler that was in ECW you got about 3x as many that's trash & heyman for some odd reason loved holding trash on a pedestal.

I give him a 1.
