literally shocked at the Edge hate. i would have never thought he had people who didnt like him. i see some bias in here. That Orton thread gonna be LEGENDARY for the fukkery

I haven't done my evaluation yet, but I said months ago that the Edge hate is weird. It's only a coli thing, similar to Young Thug being hot.

It's really weird. People on this site talk about how much they like fukkery but a wrestler who brought tons of it gets hated on here.

People were even saying that he was just an average heel. This place can be something else at times.

It was during Edge's push that I stopped watching wrestling all together.
Loved his tag work with Christian, loved his longer fued with the Brood (gangrel and Christian), but other than that he was nothing to me, boring and bland. He is above average so I gave him a 6

One of the most overrated superstars of all time, he's up there with the likes of orton. Don't get me wrong, he's had a lot of classic matches and moments but I always thought they pushed the wrong partner.

Mic skills- Average, wasn't horribly bad but never was great either. He can't hold a 10 minute promo by himself, he excelled when christian and others were involved.

In ring- Meh, I honestly can't think of one memorable match that didn't involve a gimmick. Absolutely horrible move set and possibly the worst finisher of all time.

Personality/charisma- through the roof.

Overall- I would say 6, but leaning more towards 7 because of the classic tag matches.

Based on what? Edge was a draw. He helped sell tickets for PPVs and sold a lot of merchandise. On a business level they made a good move which is what matters more than anything. His career was a financial success for the company.

Straight up didn't see a lot of his run after E&C ended, but his work during the AE was legit as fukk IMO. The Billy Gunn promo is still one of the most etherous putdowns of all time

His comedy and delivery was always terrible, and he was always outshined by whoever he was paired up with be it Christian, Vickie, or Lita. His death grip on SD killed it for nearly a decade. All those garbage IF I PULL MY HAIR AND YELL I MUST BE GIVING AN INTENSE promos.

I'll give him a 3 for taking some big bumps

He was on SD for a little more than a year, got injured, came back to Raw from 04-mid 08, and was back on SD from mid 08 til he retired in early 2011. What?
