I've been a longtime lurker of The Squared Circle since the early days back at the 
Posted here and there, had that run with the Raw threads a while back, and occasionally moderate (but I'll be honest, since life has been hectic, it's been 99% the rest of our terrific staff - shout to 3Rivers and FreshAIG)...and most importantly, I've always been an advocate of TSC.
That said: I'm calling on everyone I know, because I need support. On February 28th - I, Joshua Beld, will jump into the Ohio River in the freezing cold, to participate in the 2015 Polar Plunge, an event which raises money for Special Olympics Kentucky.

I've worked in exceptional child education for the last year, and it has been amazing. I've seen the excitement first hand that these children have for these gatherings, and it gives me very little shame to ask for any and every bit of help to ensure that my misery is worth every penny for a terrific organization.
My goal right now is $500. It's pretty easy to access the site, pledge money safely and securely, and charitable donations are tax deductible. I know the good hearts of TSC could really help me make a BIG SPLASH, and I'll even pledge to put up some embarrassing pictures if we reach my goal.
