I dont think they are. Straight main event/pre show status to me. I cant deny that all of them managed to get over at one point tho.

I disagree about Ryder. I wasn't a fan, but anytime you have somebody as organically over as he was (prior to Kane rolling him into the bushes) he should be on TV in a meaningful role. Dude got himself over with 0 help and was selling hella merchandise all off of a YouTube show. He was more over than damn near all the midcard guys who they were pushing.

This. In spite of telling the guys at the time, "get yourself over and don't just wait on us", they buried him BECAUSE he got over. That and how they mishandled punk in that same time period made it crystal clear that as long as a McMahon is in charge, it doesn't matter how over you are because unless they hand pick you, your ceiling is being fed to cena. If anything, being over has shown itself to be bad for your career with these guys. I wasn't a huge Ryder fan either but that shyt had me furious. From August 2011 to Brock losing to cena and it being the main event over the title match I totally lost all hope for this company to ever right the ship.

The idea that people like Fandango, Adam Rose, Zack Ryder etc should not only be on tv, but that they would completely elevate the show. I dont see it. At all

I just want to be part of a hype fandango'ing crowd gotdammit :mjcry:

its been played out for 3 years I know but I never got my turn!

With 3 hours of raw, & 2 hours of smackdown there's no reason they shouldn't be on TV weekly
Last time I saw Adam Rose they gave him that wack ass party pooper gimmick:francis:. I dont want to see that shyt. Fandango got played out a long time ago.
@Miami316 @Golayitdown I completely agree with yall. This is the only company in the world where you get punished for actively going out there and proving yourself but we all saw what happened. They completely buried him. But lets keep it real, do you really want to see him in 2016? If he was pushing for one of those mid tier belts would you rock with him? Would the crowd fukk with it? I just dont buy it

The ship likely sailed by now. It's a matter of them needing to flex on everyone. Vince operates and think simultaneously like a carny and a pimp. He tries to make sure nobody succeeds unless he wants it and hold wrestlers hostage under contract while trying to hurt their ability to earn money independent of him. Look at ziggler getting punished for doing stand up and them nixing sponsors for punk and trying to tell the game designers they need to put Sheamus on the cover when punk was the hottest name in the sport and the designers wanted punk. They never capitalize when an act is hot and they should pull the trigger because Vince feels the need to demonstrate that things only happen when he says so regardless of everything else. I mean he pissed away millions and 30% of the raw audience during the invasion because he would rather bury WCW than book a great product.

agreed

this was epitomized with sandow. with the right push who knows what his ceiling could have been. they have absolutely no interest in pushing the guys the fans want. it's the dumbest thing.

Nope. But I wouldn't have really rocked with him when he was hot (except for being :obama: at the fact that he was truly self made).

I think he could still be salvaged, but he will likely never get to the point he was at back then.

:wow: at how much had been missed out on over the years. Imagine how much shyt from the 80s and 90s that isn't even public knowledge because the net wasn't hot like that then.

And Roman Reigns got Vince 1 Million Network subscribers :blessed:
Who has said this?
:wtb: I would consider myself a Reigns fan and I never said that nonsense. A lot of the people saying that were probably the same people talking about a 750 Splash.
Maybe 1 person said that Reigns shyt and now that makes it a narrative aparently. Dont lump us all into that shyt, same way folks tried lump all kliq fans into saying Heavenbottom when literally only ONE poster calls HBK that.
Plenty of posters used that as a joke last year after the Royal Rumble :dwillhuh:

I didn't expect you to take that post seriously :dwillhuh:

This is true. Vince is just too petty and insecure for his job sometimes. Gets too emotional about shyt like that. He essentially bought out a company just to bury their entire legacy instead of using it to his benefit. Then 15 years later he brings out their biggest star just to bury him. But the part that gets me,after he does this, he then tries to sell you these WCW tapes and market the specials on the network after literally spending decades trying to make them look like shyt :mjlol:. I cannot for the life of me think of any other business or company where stuff like this happens on a regular basis.

that shane mcmahon is this brilliant mind and the person we should turn to as the savior of wrestling

This... and I forget who said it, but they said they asked him why he left and he said he wanted a life outside of WWE, which is a perfectly fine way to feel. Why people think someone who wants a life outside of the business would be the right guy to run the company is beyond me.

But be real tho... you think if McDonald's bought out Burger King tomorrow, they'd start advertising the Whopper the same way they do the Big Mac? They'd probably have every BK location turned into a McDonald's location, because the people who own McDonald's are not invested in making Burger King competitive. Granted, they probably wouldn't do commercials where Ronald McDonald is beatin' up the King like Vince would... well actually, they probably would do that :pachaha:... but they wouldn't be goin' out of their way to still promote Burger King products when they're still in business.
