There was even bullshyt politics at house shows. He's even said in his book that by 2003 he totally got why Austin walked out in 2002 like he did with them not having a clue why Austin vs Brock on raw is a dumb idea.
Part of me wishes Brock had stayed this whole time but another part of me salutes him for leaving and making a name for himself outside of WWE and sticking it to Vince because the industry can be so petty sometimes

That never made sense to me on how they booked that... in fact I don't really remember too much of that King of the Ring Tournament other than Brock won and that was the last good tournament before William Regal won it

Last year it was a pay per view. Yeah they wanted to throw that out there as a qualifier match with no buildup. Austin kept trying to talk them into building it up and get some money out of it too.

RVD was red hot..so the Lesnar stuff was all controversial...he was just a 25 yr old kid given everything in 5 months.
