Cept, maybe I missed it but, was AJ/Divas on the show? I wanted to see a follow-up to the promo she cut but being on these oxycodone I was fading in and out during the show :snoop:

I like D-Bry and all, but I think CM Punk would be A LOT better in his place. This should have been how the summer of Punk played out. Instead, we got Nash :beli:

I don't think anybody is disagreeing with that. It's pretty much the reason people are iffy on Triple H being anywhere near Daniel Bryan right now because Triple H didn't do "what's best for business" and turn heel during the Summer of Punk and it ended up killing a lot of Punk's momentum. But at the same time, Triple H is using the public perception of him and incorporating that into his character to troll a lot of people, and it's making them even more furious.

It's been a long ass time since we got something that is going to be a real organic long build, without it being cut at the knees. More importantly, no main event being set up for WM a year in advance where we pretty much KNEW what was going to happen the next 7 months!

The fact the show has (for the most part) only ended with D-Bry/Orton and Co. (with a sprinkle of Big Show) is actually surprising. Had this been any other time we would have already had a slew of random slapped together 6-man tag matches (I see you salivating, Teddy Long.)

With the wrestlers being forced to stand on the sidelines (kayfabe), it's great because they can have dudes break out one by one, attempting to help Bryan (or defect to the Corporate Evolution.) The crowds will all be waiting for it, so the payoffs for each of those wrestlers will be worth it. Imagine the pops.

Think of that moment when Dolph finally says "fukk it", runs down and laces someone with the Superkick. Or Mizzark stomps his way to the ring and gives each member of The Shield the World's Strongest Slam. Cody Rhodes returning through the crowd with his hoodie on and dropping a Shield nikka with the Cross-Rhodes. I don't even need to explain if CM Punk music hits.

It's only been 3 weeks, and they got by with actually focusing on D-Bry and Orton/McMahon Co, even if the endings of the show have all been similar. This is still a good sign. There are so many big PPVs on the horizon, why blow their loads now? Thinking about them ruining it 4-5 months from now is pointless. Address it when (if) it happens. Enjoy what we are getting now. Could finally get that Starrcade 97 build where the match actually delivers too (without the Nick Patrick pinfall botch, that is :lolbron:)

Exactly. Well written.

In a lot of ways, it's like a new season, or like the roster has been reset. Every wrestler is basically a free agent, and are going to be realigned as heel or face via this storyline. Someone like Big E could turn face just by going against them and there will be no other explanation needed. A lot of people can be elevated through this.

I personally think Miz and Big Show need to both turn heel and join the Corporation.

I'm satisfied with how things are going because I know the payoff will be huge, but I gotta admit, heel HHH is making this shyt seem real to me.:to:

Heel work at its finest. :salute:

The other good part is it actually makes Smackdown relevant again since the storyline is so huge it's now carrying over to that show.

Another Gold Medal
Hes not any more or less over now than he was at Summerslam. If they do the story right he could end up better for it. Or they could just never give him a payoff until people stop caring, as we've seen before.

Breh he has been getting attitude era like pops man, the only time he was coming close to the pops he is getting now was that RAW after the Mania loss to Sheam da gawd.

I want you and Rock=Greatness to finally go heads-up

He ain't about that life :mjpls:
