Watching that Sting/Bret match from Halloween Havoc 98 and remember it being such a let down.
1. Bret's heart definitely wasn't with the match or anything WCW related for that matter which looked like he was just phoning everything in
2. They both were pawns on the played NWO angle
3. Bret would switch from face to heel heel to face every week
4. Sting momentum was already cooled after Starcade because of Hoegan, And even after he won the title. Hogan was still in the spotlight
5. Both of them were injured during this time and didn't vibe well at all.. The ending was straight trash.
Bischoff straight fumbled this shyt. Sting/Hart should have automatically been the program after Sting beat Hoegan at Starcade
