nikkas would play without helmets if they were allowed to :manny:. Bomani made a great point...if he cared about his well being like that would he even play football at all? :ld:. Most people would risk their wellbeing for something they love AND 200 Ms.

The majority of players aren't wearing them in games, and it seems their rationale is the same as his. Chris Olave has 4 concussions in 5 seasons and no one is yelling for him to wear one. It's the optics of a QB locking up on the field on national TV.

It doesn't help that he's the type of QB that's destined to be on a HoF D-Lineman's highlight reel. Lack of size, elusiveness, arm strength limitations. If that ball isn't out quick, he's food.

If the NFL said they aren't involved in the process after the players are placed in the protocol, then they need to hold themselves to that. This is a decision that needs to be made by him and his family. The Dolphins can sit him down, but we know that's not happening.

Helmets and Guardian caps are like military Kevlar helmets. They’re not constructed to stop a bullet, only slow it down. Still gonna kill you

People hate to hear it but this kid is the result of a parent leaving an imprint on his son. I guarantee you somewhere in his noggin he’d think his dad would call him a p*ssy over that shyt.

And it ain’t even just Tua, the majority of the NFL that refuses the caps operating from the same thought process. It’s just gonna take another couple of generations that are raised differently before dudes realize what’s up with their safety

On a real tip I can’t imagine what my man’s brain is gonna look like 40-50 years from now when you compound aging and all of that.

Dude willing to die and leave his kids as orphans? Someone talk to this guy.
Honestly it's worse. He probably won't die, he'll simply be mentally gone at some point within a decade. And before he gets to that point will display all types of symptoms - some possibly violent - that potentially ruin his relationship with his children. This is not something to play around with. If he wants to keep playing out of some honesty obligation that he can't quit after signing a big contract...fine, whatever I guess. But to dismiss the guardian cap is insane. This is the type of shyt you argue with your wife about before agreeing on a compromise - you keep playing but wear the cap. The fact that he's not doing that tells me his entire approach to this shyt is wrong.
