He was the most popular guy on Fox.
His fan base will follow him to whatever platform he on. Fox has no one to replace him
I wonder if Tucker's audience will actually follow him to his next endeavor. I know he had the highest rated cable news show in history, but how much of that was him and how much of that was the time slot? Anybody on Fox News at 8:00 PM would get high ratings, and Tucker was a schmuck before he got on Fox News.

They put Jesse Watters' dumb ass in that time slot and I bet it's still their highest-rated hour, even if there's a small dropoff in ratings.

Also, people REALLY underestimate that Fox's strategy of going lowest common denominator also applies to how people access their content. They've gone to great strides to make sure that all of their news content is free to read online, and that Fox News is is just readily available on every cable or satellite provider in most of the most basic packages, and usually at a relatively low channel number. People don't think shyt like that matters, but it absolutely does. Putting a new barrier up like having it one one of the new far right channels that might be struggling for carriage, or having to figure out streaming could actually be a big deal for his audience, especially if whoever they replace him with does a suitable enough job that the Fox News viewers say "This isn't what I used to watch, but it's good enough."

Personally I don't give a shyt. But what about the producers who set the agenda for each show?
if there is no show then they are probably out of a job soon, some of them might get one on whatever replaces it, but whoever replaces it might want his own staff of writers and producers.

in the past his head writer had to resign for being exposed as a 4klan nazi
