I'm not a criminal but from what I gather

A good criminal must be careful to never leave loose ends when dirt is being done.
Anybody that sees your face when you're doing dirt – especially dirt that will get you 25+ – has got to go because 9.5/10 they'll either call the cops on you or, in case you get them shook on the spot - they'll stay quiet for a few days until a friend/family-member/cops/victim-family convinces them to step forward.

Letting the person that's seen you commit a crime go is usually the same as dropping a clue in front of a police station because there will be an APB on your ass.

Plus who paying for your medical bills? In Japan usually the person whose life is saved often offers to foot the bill. And there the most you gotta worry about is a knife which can be deadly but is not an automatic death sentence like a Gun. You at least have a 50% chance of living where as with a gun it's 10% when it jams or there is mechanical issues.

Look like a CAC so at the end of the day I don't care what happens to them - But nikkas need to learn to fall back and call the authorities and maybe observe from a distance until they get there. If my Woman was being attacked by some dude I would NOT want someone to intervene unless they knew he wasn't strapped somehow. This is what I don't understand. A robbery would be low on the priority list. A murder (or attempted murder) is #1 story on the news.
