Tumblr dead as fukk!

A lot of trends started from/on tumblr and spread everywhere else. It gets to me too...especially considering on IG people just blatantly take stuff and don't give credit to the original sources ie. fukkjerry. There was a time where the most cutting edge fashion of the 2010s...was on tumblr. Especially the vintagexlife, fresh.i.am, raised by champions stuff and the custom snapbacks and hoodies and random 1 offs. Also, there were so many accounts that would scan fashion magazines from the 2000s, 90s, 80s, 70s and those photos would legit be nowhere else...then people would steal them and post them on IG and pinterest.

It's hilarious when I somebody I know shows me something on their facebook feed or on Instagram that I saw on tumblr over 5 years ago.

They're recycling the same shyt. Hell Twitter steals a lot from them too.

FB is normie trash.

Twitter is too public and people are way too nosy on there. I will admit, it's fun when you have over a thousand followers then people view you and your account differently. I had an account with over a thousand followers, then life got weird. Next thing I know I got people sening me hate emails and creating accounts dedicated to getting me banned. I have people I've never interacted with preemptively blocking me. But Twitter is kind of like the lotto in someway. I've gotten opportunities form it, interviews, and have had magazine reach out to me from my twitter account.

IG is just wack narcisstic egomaniacal trash. Seems the only way to get alot of followers on there is to 1) Be female 2) shake your ass and titties. 3) Already be famous. If you're just trying to grind and bring attention to your music, art, photography, just go somewhere else....LOL.

Been reverting back to tumblr, IMO it’s the best place for art, finding inspiration, mood boards, bytches, music, fashion. Without that added pressure of having thousands of followers/likes. I love it.

And if you look hard enough you can still find some porn lol

Still go to Tumblr because I follow some old blogs thats been active since the 2010-2012 era and still post with the same vibe. Remember Asap Yamz started the whole ASAP movement on Tumblr.
But Tumblr lost when all the big brands stopped uploading shyt and the hypebeasts moved to IG. Porn was just the nail in the coffin.



I can recommend Tumblthree where you can download your blog, archive, likes and even some of your favorite posters blogs and so on. Have all that shyt on my computer when that day comes which must be soon

I posted a new song on my dash...now my dash isn't even refreshing with my new posts after I just played the song on it...and posts aren't even showing up in chronological order anymore...this shyt is trash.
