Not only did they get rid of the porn and censor everything...they changed the layout of the site too and it's looks ten times cheaper than before. I don't even know how they are even managing to stay afloat at this point.

Pretty much everybody I follow either has had their blogs censored/flagged for next to nothing or they just aren't posting there anymore.

I’ve been feasting off Tumblr! The content on there has helped my company’s Instagram page explode in terms of followers. There are still a lot of active accounts on there.




Another great photo app to use is wehearit. TONS of creative, inspirational art, quotes and photography on there.

Still eating. There are still a lot of active Tumblr accounts. However, I’m using Weheartit more, lately. I used to gather images off of Instagram, but the content curated by the tags on Instagram doesn’t compare to Tumblr. Tumblr users strike me as a lot more cultures, with an eye far more critical and discerning than your average Instagram blogger.

Possibly the least surprising failure of all time, they banned their number one source of traffic which was adult content...

Their failure is a good thing though, they showed other companies what happens when you shyt on your end users to cater to SJW's that don't use your product...

If you want to make money and be successful, listen to people that actually use your product...

How was the failure of the site based on catering to SJWs? The SJWs loved the porn/nudity/no kink shaming/body positivity/sex positive vive of tumblr and left in droves when tumblr banned porn. They thought tumblr was a "safe haven" for sex workers and wrote think pieces and shyt whenever tumblr announced the porn ban. Tumblr definitely didn't ban it to cater to SJWs.

If I recall, tumblr removed porn from the platform because apple kicked the tumblr app out of the apple store because people kept hosting child porn on there. So to get the app out of the bushes, they said they would stop allowing porn of any kind.

Some of those craigslist and backpage chicks would follow me and like and reblog my posts.

But some of y'all have no idea how much debauchery and deviancy went on on tumblr on a daily basis.

At the end of the day, social media is a big gigantic popularity contest. Atleast Tumblr doesn't have egos like Twitter or Instagram. You can just post. But then again, only on Twitter can you make some tweets that get you big opportunities in your DMs like management groups hitting you up or a news writer writing about you.

There’s still porn on there, but it’s a bit harder to find. shyt is always getting taken down. My tumblr timeline is filled with puzzy tho

TBH, I don't even know how my blog is not blocked or flagged. I hit a glitch where I can't get flagged.

I still post nudes on my tumblr...And there's still pics in my archive that I just legit cannot believe haven't gotten flagged.

More like users were uploading child porn and that's what started tumblr to get rid of porn altogether. Just cause the app got removed from the apple app store.
