David Karp the founder of Tumblr still got lucky though, he never even finished high school and he's a millionaire. most high school dropouts i know would cut off a hand to have 3 million dollars.

Site is absolutely worthless now. Even browsing it it feels cheap. Tumblr is finna go the way of myspace and friendster.
I hate to say it but true. Tumblr was it's own enemy by not reporting the pedo blogs before Apple removed them from the app store. Only then they decided to clean up the site & police NSFW blogs b/c of the reputation hit & money loss.
Been using Tumblr since 2014 and that site is close to being done. After they did the purge late last year, I ain't never seen so many deactivated reblog posts.
If I'm not mistaken a large part of getting rid of porn was the posting of child porn so nikkas just decided to wash their hands with the whole thing.

I thought about deleting a few times but I figure what else am I going to do when I get really bored. All I do is browse IG and msgboards varies depending on the day, the topics, & traffic.

The owner did cash out. He sold that shyt to Yahoo, who turned it into, well, shyt.
Shoulda never took away the NSFW capabilities. Coulda put some more money and effort into actually weeding out the pedo trash and letting artists, sex workers and nudies rock. Chicks getting black listed for posting a nipple or advertising their content while you got bestiality and worse blogs thriving all because you ain't getting a cut..
I hadn't been on in like 8 months and all of a sudden I got my icon back, I can check my archives, no flagged posts ect. They trying to beg muthafukkas to come back, too late.
But I do love the format, I loved being able to situate my blog, engage the stuff I like along with some phat tiddie appreciation in the mix, it was my own little corner of the internet. Someone is going to have to take that template and feel and make it better. Tumblr is dead but the things that popped up to try and replace it are wack af.
