Too many black people become giddy off of symbolic victories. It’s sad and child-like. :francis:

negged your dumb ass.

you and all these other super militants always talking about "own your own" and be your own boss, and Hov has been doing that since the early 90s and has reached a billy 30 years later and you stupid fukks are hating.

Both sides got good arguments. Jay becoming a billionaire is a good thing because it encourages black people to see the value of running your own business and investing. On the other hand someone mentioned that he sold poison to his own people in the form of drugs and his music, aka sold out his own people.

He reached a billy so now we bringing up him selling drugs in 93

They’re right.

But jay z is an inspiration if only in image.

I prefer the David Steward and Robert Smith method

Because you don’t see them while they making money?

Most never seen these dudes

I think the hate or hateful comments come from the fact

A lot can trace where jay started or heard him rap his first few years now they look up and he made lots of moves now he here and they looking like ....

“Damn he did not fukk up ... did not have lots of kids did not go to jail no drug abuse problems...married a woman that makes money herself..”

:francis:

Just think

DMX
Ja Rule
Busta
D.I.T.C
BCC

And so many others are in his class and none of them got close to this

OC said back then he was all about the art now he wishes he paid attention to some of the Biz aspects

He said Jay told him and did not listen

DMX got caught up

Busta got caught up he never paid attention to publishing etc...

I’m really trying to figure out what they want jay to do to make them feel better :patrice:

Should he not want to have generational wealth?

What amount of money should he have stopped at?

I’m being for real

What are they saying :what:
They think you need to be mad at a pervasive enemy to believe in reparations.

You don't have to DO anything. In fact tryna suggest that shyt is "concerned trolling", just be mad :martin:

People forgot Jay is the same age as Big Daddy Kane and Rakim. Man had to wait 10 years to shine

And what has that done for the ADOS community? My statement wasn't even directed towards Jay and his achievement - which is singular and not at all reflective of the overall state of the black community - so much as it was the black people leaping to give it a round of applause, despite his accomplishment contributing nothing of tangible value to our community. White and Asian billionaires are created every single day, but black clowns on Twitter pat themselves on the back once Jay reaches the paltry amount of 1 billion after three decades in the industry. It's embarrassing. :francis:
