I'm kind of amazed how fast police responded and took out the shooter. This is a resort area where you could assume the police have their guard down. Maybe they are more alert than we assume. I kind of think they are possibly better prepared to possible ISIS threats because they speak Arabic and can tune in on threats made in phone calls and stuff.

Well, he blasted away at the beach. That took a short amount of time. Not saying the cops responded right at the time of the shooting.
What I meant was from the time he did the shooting to when he got shot. Dylann Roof made it to another state and all.

There was a terrorist attack in Tunisia just two months ago, they would have been on high alert. Plus the resort that was attacked primarily consisted of foreign tourists(30 of the 38 that were killed were British citizens) .

People wanna say US cops are militarized...but compared to places in South America, Carribbean, Africa and Asia...COPS look like this...and its not even the SWAT or military.
