Like when cultural outsiders evaluate hip hop as an artform/ way of life, they usually dont look past Eminem. Not that he was the greatest artist, or MC... but his story is the most accessible and easy to understand.
Same with Bob Marley and Reggae..
Tupac is on that level in terms of name recognition.. but mainstream america is conflicted over him ... people in this country dont know how to deal with his message and what he represented![]()
