Im watching this documentary right now for like the 15th time, and everytime i see it im just glued to my tv. Everytime i see it im reminded of how much of a unique person Tupac was, without a doubt this dude was one of a kind and we probably will never see someone like him again.
Yea ya can argue he wasnt the best lyricist ever or w.e quality ya want to hate on, but he had the entire package that every rapper till this day wish they had. Sometimes i wonder like damn i wonder how hip hop would be if tupac was still alive today, you can hardly deny that most likely he would be the leader of the whole movement if he was still around, and would most likely be involved in some political shyt because he always came off as a real smart dude that just stuck it out with his people because of the struggles he went thru as a kid.
this right here is probably my favorite quote of the movie and i think represents exactly what his whole movement was about
Here goes the movie on YT for those who never watched it before (

Its like you got the Vietnam War, and just because the reporters show us pictures at home of the Vietnam War, thats what made the Vietnam War end, when it did end. The shyt probably would have lasted longer if no one knew exactly what was going on; you know we would have probably thought they were dying valiantly in some beautiful way, but, because we saw the horror, thats what made us stop the Vietnam War. So I thought thats what Im going to do as an artist, as a rapper, Im going to show the most graphic details of what I see in my community, and hopefully theyll stop it. Resurrection, 2004
