Lets keep it real here ya'll. Imagine if Drake was a ballerina during his highschool years. And started blooding it and su-wooing it up when he got with Cash Money. Would he be any different than Pac?

Only reason why he got away with it back then, was cuz nobody knew about it. Prodigiys career got shytted on for waaaay less

Pac was on some gangster shyt long before he met Suge Knight. Saafir used to say Pac was the first one to grab the guns on tour if they ever got into beef.

And this was while he was a back up dancer/roadie for DU, around '90 or '91.

So nah, it's not the same at all. People act like Pac was a square that "turned bad" when he met Suge.

i'm so tired of people that are stanning tupac simply because it's cool to stan tupac, not because they geniunely liked him. either you like the dude or you didn't. doesn't matter what he did or didn't do. you are NOT obligated as a hip hop fan to like him, biggie, pun, or any other dead rapper that died. if there wasn't so much money being profitted off of pac's death as well as biggie, i guarantee you the media and etc would kill this whole entire movement where folks are pushing pac and biggie. tired of the fake respect. you are NOT a hip hop fan if you're calling pac the goat and etc because 900 other motherfukkers are kissing his ass. it's funny because pac was dissing his "phony homies" and what do you know, 100 phonies that are basically trying to look cool thinking they
re getting points saying they're down with tupac. you can respect the guy if YOU geniunely respect him or want to respect the dead BUT stop with the fakeness. it's weak.

me personally, i think pac was trying too hard and etc. he's overrated as a rapper. whenever people call him the GOAT, i feel they do it out of pity because he died and how he died.

Chino studied Tupac so well, because he respected him, liked him, he could begin to stockpile some lyrical weapons of mass destruction, should it ever come to that. It became clear, though, that the fight wouldn’t be verbal. When we’d go places in California, we’d hear whispers as we entered a club, always some dude muttering “Tupac” under his breath. Chino, from what I recall, began to hear ominous threats from the Death Row camp. Then came “Hit Em Up,” the last song that Tupac released alive, where he followed up his “Chino XL, f**k you too” with the statement, “My .44 make sure all y’all kids don’t grow.” Chino XL, father of three, took that shyt very seriously, and proceeded to squash the sh*t with Tupac through some backchannel communication that was, and is, none of my business. To this day, Chino says that he and Pac had peaced things up before Pac’s death. I think there was a part of Chino that missed being able to verbally joust with a worthy opponent. After all, he had saved up nearly a year’s worth of comeback rhymes that never saw the light of day, and that’s hard for an emcee to hold back. To his credit, Chino never recorded a response to “Hit Em Up.” The only time I ever heard of him let some slip was at a live performance at New York’s Wetlands in the fall of 1996, which began: “Ni**a you ain’t never seeeeeeeeeen drama/ F**k you and your dope fieeeeeeeeeeend mama.” A few days later Tupac was shot in Vegas I had flown back to Los Angeles, and remember, a few days later, the voice of Rick’s assistant echoing through the office. “He’s dead,” she said. I got the call a few hours later from Chino as he traveled by car from New York to Philly. He was crying. “You know I loved that dude, Charnas,” he said. I told him that I did. A few months later, we were in Vegas. The Makaveli album has just come out, and in the wee hours of the morning, when the rest of us went up to the hotel rooms to sleep, Chino stayed behind in the car to listen to the whole thing, alone. In 1997, Chino narrowly escaped death when several gunmen shot through his SUV outside a house party in Jersey. There was some talk, I remember, of this coming from some of Pac’s people who didn’t know that shyt had been squashed, and were looking for revenge. But I’m not sure if

nikka if you feel that way fine. But to label all his respect as fake is some bitter hating ass shyt. How the fukk you know whether someone's love for Pac is fake of not? Alotta people just can't deal with the fact Pac is seen as the GOAT for one reason or another.

no, what i'm saying is folks aren't keeping it real. i just think it's funny how folks are basically saying pac was the realest dude but yet there's a lot of fakeness with folks when it comes to tupac whether it's ignoring the facts or overexaggerating their love for his music. to front like all pac's material is listenable or he hasn't put out a wack record or whatever is enough proof. you know you're faking if you can't criticize your boy and have to vouch for everything he did. that's NOT keeping it real. that's keeping it fake.

and yeah, it's not hard to tell if someone's faking, dude, especially when folks are all being selective about the facts about pac. like we're going to pretend that pac didn't say thug life was dead when he was incarcerated or that pac made up the whole beef between him and biggie to sell records or that pac was never a thug to begin with and was acting it out.

You can go down the same road w/ biggie. neither of them did any real "g" shyt before their record deals. it doesn't matter.

please stop

once he met Suge his ego rose leaps and bounds and he thought he could be supernikka... but we see how that turned out :deadrose:

Breh....are you even old enough to be speaking on this shyt? No....so :wtf:

Like I said, people that knew him back then, Saafir, Shock G, etc. said he was running around with guns acting wild in 1990, before anyone even knew Suge Knight existed.

He also beat up the Hughes brothers in '93 over "Menace II Society"....shot 2 cops the same year....in '92 he "loaded up the guns and saved my ass in Cali"....this is Tim Dogg, the guy that made "fukk Compton". What reason does he have to make Pac look good?

So....the fukk are you talking about? :stopitslime:

I can actually back up what I'm saying with facts. You're just sitting there saying "LOLZ PLEASE STOP". Are you drunk?

Fred.

wow

did you even listen to that interview?
how does Pac giving Tim Dog and his crew guns SO THEY COULD flex on some nikkas turn into "Tupac loaded up guns and saved my ass in Cali" ? :laff:
Is that supposed to be the definition of a superthug now? Lending someone your old dusty ratchets? :laff: :laff:

As many Pac dikksuckers you can find claiming he was bout it , I can find just as many saying he was a pretender

In prodigy's book he talks about Pac being a fake thug, Curtis Sc00n, who was around all those big time artists around that time, says the same shyt. Nas called him a fake thug etc etc

it's ample evidence to suggest Pac was a weirdo wannabe gangster
