I would stay away from those premade patties. They are usually bad in sodium and other shyt.

I cop the extra lean turkey from made by butterball (97% fat free)

Calories in Butterball All Natural Ground White Turkey, 97% Fat Free - Calories and Nutrition Facts

compared to

All Natural Turkey Burgers - Made from Lean White Meat | Nutritional Information | Jennie-O Turkey Store

whose serving size is roughly the same but 4 times as much sodium.

Then yall adding soy sauce/worshire (sp?), seasoning salt etc. shyt can get unhealthy quick.

Food for thought.

I gave up beef and pork 8 years ago. Been making my own turkey burgers the last few years. I mix the following in a bowl then bbq it.

1 egg
Handful of either shredded parmesan cheese or shredded mozzarella cheese

Half a can

I add in plain greek yogurt that I mixed with some dill, garlic to the turkey meat :noah: :win:

I use that to add in some moisture.

When i'm making turkey burgers with no buns, i'll sometimes take a slice of bread, soak it in milk, break it into pieces and put that into the meat mixture as well for moisture.:lawd:

And btw...yall need to try this piff

To each his own..I know people who put a spoon of sour cream/egg in they burgers...

Plain Greek yogurt with some seasoning makes a great sour cream substitute..:ahh:

And the bread inside of the burger is for moisture...i've only done that twice..mainly use that for my meatloaf recipes.

But 1 slice of wheat bread broken into pieces going into a 1 pound of ground turkey is better than eating like 4 burgers/4 buns...
