Russia doesn't need to be the victim. Turkey is acting as aggressor with implied support from NATO. Turkey's actions are antagonizing and basically begging for war.

They play very well with their European neighbors and have for the better part of two decades now. Maybe if the US/UK didn't keep going on safaris in the eastern bloc then this could have been avoided.

When you say democratically elected leader are your referring to Putin? Living under Communism wouldn't be very pleasant I've heard stories...
