A lot of these NATO/American presences are quite small, except for Inclirlik. When I was a kid, my pops worked at the Allied Land Command in Izmir, and it was just a couple of buildings downtown in Izmir. No base, all the servicemen there were living in local apartment buildings, easy as fukk to get dealt with if things went bad. I'm sure they've beefed up security since then, though.

Its not a problem of rolling over the troops located within Turkey. The problem is actively engaging US forces which would lead to a broader conflict.

I was saying that to mean that it probably wouldn't be shyt to take all of our stuff out of Turkey, besides the Air Force Base. The rest would just be turning over some buildings and reassigning some airmen and soldiers back to the US, or to Europe, or whoever else we pick as our next proxy in the area.

For starters how the hell is Turkey a buffer between Russia and I'm guessing.... Europe? Why couldn't Russia just go through Ukraine/Romania
