But the YPG, who later morphed into the SDF, had a significant number of PKK in their ranks.

I thought all of these acronyms were actually Kurds. Only difference being that some were from Syria and some were from Turkey.

no sir. YPG and PKK existed and fought the Turks well before the Syrian civil war started. They’ve been responsible for a number of suicide bombings inside Turkey. SDF is an United States creation. We created SDF after the Kobani incident where we helped them defend their city against ISIS by bombing ISIS to molecules.

we then found them useful so USA provided the air cover and the SDF were our foot soldiers.

Ok. If they're not all Kurds, let's hear who makes up these groups.

YPG and PKK existed and fought the Turks well before the Syrian civil war started.

Ok....

They’ve been responsible for a number of suicide bombings inside Turkey.

Ok....

So none of what you said, actually disputed my point. At all. In fact, you're having a completely different conversation. :unimpressed:[/quote]

Sad thing is the Kurds were about a good an ally as you could expect in the ME. I wonder if this is the turning point that makes Trumpsters start realizing this fool is on the take.
Absolutely not.

They'll ride with Trump til he fukks them over, then they'll rationalize it somehow and still hold their unwavering allegiance to him.

It’s ironic that hundreds of years ago, Kurds like Nour-al din and Salah-al din were instrumental in restoring honor to the Muslim world by defeating the crusaders. And yet today their people get fukked over in such fashion.
I'd like to become more versed in such topics.. can you recommend me anything brother?

Yes it does. It is not the USA job to police the world. And it is not our military nor our politicians job to clean up the messes left behind by British and French imperialism. In fact, its a danger to the republic to constantly be entangled with those nations as allies and their endless wars.

You've been convinced by the media that it is necessary, and you are okay with being extorted to have your tax money and your children go give their lives so some bankers and the elite can enrich themselves pillaging nations in the name of spreading democracy and freedom, or fighting terrorism.

Guess what...IDGAF about your opinion either.

I read the autopsy report about what they did to her and then to her body after her death. Disgusting.

ISIS stole US military equipment, nearly toppled Iraq ,and killed US citizens at home and abroad. That's our problem.

Wax poetic all you want

YPG and SDF is basically the same thing. YPG had close ties to PKK which is classified as a terrorist organization by NATO (which Turkey is a part of) so they basically rebranded themselves as SDF in order make it easier for the US to work with them, it made for good PR. Otherwise it would look like the US is helping/training terrorists
