A student stuck in her classroom at Lone Star College while a gun man was reportedly shooting in the hallways outside frantically tweeted to her family and friends Tuesday.

"Everyone ! there is a man shooting at lonestar north Harris. This is not a joke. Please be safe. I'm so scared." Wrote @amandaplease223. "please tell my mom that I'm ok. I just can't find service in the room I'm stuck in"

Everyday I really sit and think about homeschooling my kids. I always said that I would have been pissed if my mom homeschooled me but if I can't send my kids to school with guns to protect themselves, I might have to do it

The shooting happened at a college. So you're going to home-school your kid from grade 1 to 12 but you'll eventually have to send him/her away for university. lol good luck

Suspects Facebook page states he is a fan of Lil Wayne who is also a black gangster who raps about killing and pimping. Elias Goldbein who saw the shooting said, "yea just a bunch of no good urban youth taking over our beautiful campus, I think he voted Obama"

No lie, I was checkin the news for the Threater shooting when I somehow glimpsed over a school shooting in Alabama University city where 17 people got shot the same day as the Denver shooting.

I'm still surprised no big news station talked about it.
