Turned off ad blocker and was disgusted

Ublock Origin is GOAT. For some reason it got turned off. I decided to leave it off just to see if ads got better since I installed it years ago. I went to YouTube to watch a two minute video for ESPN. Had to sit through a 30 second ad at the beginning.


Came to the coli and was harassed with banners everywhere. Went to other sites and saw the same thing.


Is this what people are dealing with?


Shiit makes the internet unbearable. If you are browsing naked out here in 2020 you lawst.

If a website won't let me use Adblock, I skip it altogether. Some of the services they give promotion are wild. Used a work computer and saw a Russian escort banner ad. It's one thing to search for this stuff therefore having the algorithm base an ad off of your cookies, but it's another to have one forced on you.
