I say this love and respect OP: each kid you bring into this world ought to have your best as a father. You can’t really get a do-over; this is a flesh-and-blood person you are talking about. If you do ever have this 2nd family later down the line and invest in them wholly in lieu of your firstborn, you may come to regret it.
