It's a platform you use to hand in assignments. Some professors at my college use it, others don't.

I don't have any issues with it since my mark has never been low as a result of it

It's a massive database that includes every student paper submitted and pretty much the entire internet. You submit it and a program determines how much of it was copied. A paper should have around 40% (with references) or less to avoid suspicion of plagiarism.

Aint nothing nobody can do for you at this point breh , you just got a looooooonnnggggggg night ahead of you. Cop some red bulls, and get to typing.

If you have ti submit an electronic copy for something just know chances are, are because the teacher wants to submit it into a plagiarism checker. Think about it, if you were a teacher would you rather read and grade on apiece of paper (you can easily make notes, carry around anywhere). Or be on a computer screen?
