TV heads I need help

I'm torn between these two:

55in Samsung JS8500 4k SUHD 3D - $1250
55" Samsung UN55JS8500 4K SUHD 3D Smart LED HDTV $1250 + Free Shipping

or


55in LG EG9100 1080p OLED curved - $1400
55" LG 55EG9100 1080p Curved Smart OLED 3D HDTV $1400 + Free Shipping

The thing is rtings has the samsung as the runner up in the 55 category but the LG as the midrange. But I'm reading people liking the OLED more. But its only 1080p

I have the JS8500 48" TV. It's great at upscaling and has little audio lag (much better than Sony and Sharp). The automotion plus could be better though. It skips frames occasionally
