It's funny how back in the day as a kid I used to watch a lot of shows where they would have a show dealing with gentrification.From a greedy developer wanting to build a mall in an existing neighborhood and tear down homes, to other topics dealing with this subject. I remember hearing about gentrification growing up but I never really paid attention to it until I joined Thecoli few years ago. Because in my city there has nit really been any gentrification that has went on. But I get why people who live in these communities hate gentrification because a lot of these outsiders come into the neighborhood and have no respect for the neighborhood or for the traditions of the neighborhood.
