I doubt it'd be that cheap
It will be cheaper than people think...if everyone competes the prices will drop.

That's how steam operates...that's why the sales are so drastic on there :blessed:

no breh. Television companies basically force cable companies to carry their other channels.

people want Fox, well if Comcast wants to carry Fox, Fox will force Comcast to carry FX, Fox News, Fox Sports etc.
Same for NBC, ABC and all other networks.

Steam sales are just sales. They make more money on sales but companies don't publicly count PC digital sales (probably so they don't make consoles look bad).

The two are completely different situations.

It will happen, you guys are thinking that the old archaic ass system will stay in place.

IT WONT, WE the CONSUMERS have more power than you guys think. If you guys keep thinking, "nah, they will just do this and that"

NO THEY WONT, YOU HIT THEM WHERE IT HURTS...THE WALLET. THEY WILL HAVE TO ADAPT OR DIE. THAT'S THE NAME OF THE GAME.

People are already talking with their wallets...expect more to cut the cord

I work for a cable/internet company and a la carte is coming, but it'll be some time maybe 3-5years if not 5-10. You have to take into account the contracts cable companies have with networks and the infrastructure changes that will have to take place. Pay attention to things like Fios Mobile and other apps that let you watch tv on or off your provider's network depending on what you're subscribed to. We're already moving in that direction.

its ok net neutrality is dead. they dont need tv money any more

Honestly that net neutrality shyt won't change much. For example, Netflix just cut a deal with Comcast to ensure their speeds. So from a consumer perspective, at worst, Netflix raises their streaming price from $8 to say $10 or $12 to cover that cost.

Some people are on their Y2K shyt, which as I recall, wasn't so bad. :heh:
