He’s a commentator. Nothing more nothing less. That’s the thing that people don’t seem to understand. Here’s the real problem; we have so few black commentators that are worth a dime that people make the mistake of idolizing this one guy.

A lot of people look at Tariq as a leader. To say he just a commentator is not really true at this point.

You're a fool if you're looking for leader at this point. Tariq is a commentator just like rush Limbaugh.

Only thing is he willing to speak on black issues unapologetically.

You don't get allow commentators to lead you.

White men ain’t evolved much since they crawled out of the caves. A lot of wenches and bucks are getting that wake up call in 2020. Just because Becka and Connor like Lil Baby and Dave Chappelle, it don’t mean they give two shyts about the common black person

Yup even in the 40s,50s and 60s cacs would listen to jazz go to Harlem clubs but you were still a nygger to them

You can’t call him just a commentator when his fanbase looks at him as a leader.

So then why are c00ns so scared that he's going to get Trump re-elected?:sas2:

Because they think he’s bigger than he is.

Too many people think Black Twitter represents an accurate picture of the world, and it doesn’t. Folks keep posting these black women bashing black men, as if the black birthrate is going down. Black women are still largely getting with black men.

I’ve been listening to him since the Mack Lessons days. He’s funny, but encouraging people to not vote is a problem. Somebody gets into office regardless of black people not voting. They want to take away our voting rights anyway, so does it make sense to NOT vote? The majority of our problems are from local politicians. We need to start there.

I don’t consider any black person who wants to vote a c00n, nor do I think calling black people those names is productive. We are all living in the same system, and some of us react differently.

I think you under estimate Tariq. They might not know him by name, but they do know his works.
He's has been on all major new outlets, had best sellers, his album sales did well etc…,

I’m not underestimating him. I’m just saying people don’t take everything he says to heart. You can be a fan of someone, and NOT follow every bit of their advice. And black people not voting is not solving any problems.

Plus, he’s a member of the media. Is it really in his best interest for Trump to be out of office? Trump gives him more talking points.

Why aren’t we finding, and funding a decent democrat candidate? Why just expect them to appear and offer tangibles? If we get the right people in LOCALLY, then maybe we can get the right person in the general election.

But I’m voting no matter what. Politicians make decisions that effect black people that have nothing to do with race or tangibles. We need to care about those things.

I remember awhile back when a breh said something profound: basically, when it comes to these particular sistas that are quick to post their positive interactions with Wyte Men, it's because they can finally feel like an attractive Black Woman. It's basically the equivalent of the college jock giving his attention to the quiet girl many might overlook. That's why these posts are usually netting at least 100k likes and thousands of retweets. Sad part is dude doesn't even have to be dealing with Black Women on a romantic level to get that amount of positive feedback.

This is exactly why I don't buy the whole "Our men never uplift us" shyt. Whenever BM do this, no one gives a shyt because it doesn't carry the same impact. The posts are lucky to crack 1k likes, if that.

Unless he is a millionaire, elite breh. But they will say that he is just pandering. But a regular cac with 500 followers can go viral, especially if he does not look like an incel.
