String caught them double slugs from a faggit and MuslimIf you want to find a closer comparison to Marlo, it’d have to be Stringer Bell, not Avon. Stringer had Brandon tortured. Stringer ordered Bodie to kill Wallace. Stringer had D’Angelo killed in prison. Stringer had Omar and his grandmother shot at during the Sunday truce.
Avon was no saint, but the show is pretty clear that Marlo represents something worse than him. I don’t see Avon being so petty as to have that security guard murdered for no reason. Avon respected the "rules" of the game in a way that neither Marlo nor Stringer did.
