Twista joining the ROC

I mean he was featured on The Understanding, Blueprint 2, State Property 2 and Paid In Full OST (posse cut even), why didn't he officially join Roc-A-Fella and put out an album?

Can you imagine a Twista album in 2002/03 filled with Kanye/Blaze/Bink beats?

I believe the label he was on at the time prevented it from happening.

on the song "champions" off paid in full soundtrack, twista says he's part of the roc. but that was never offical. he did get his chain tho.

Nope. Dame Dash fought HARD to try and get Twista on the ROC, Craig Kallman (Atlantic CEO wasn't having it.) Dame even called out Kallman at a public event from the stage. In the end, he was bound by contract and Dame gave up.

He fought as hard as he could, believe me. But when an artist is under a SOLID Contract, there's only so much you can do
