Grim is saying this is bad for Dems.
His logic is that it would hurt organizing but I didn’t consider that paid ads are the impetus for online organizing. Paid ads certainly don’t make me check out a candidate.Grim is saying this is bad for Dems.
I remember learning about a couple of Beto for Senate events thru ads I saw on Twitter. Other then that I get info through the organic sharing channels - retweets, follows, likes, etc. Grim might be concerned b/c the data which shows Twitter users are younger and more Democratic than the avg US popul. So on the surface it's a fertile recruiting ground for Dems, but I don't think it outweighs the poison the right wing is injecting on there. If there's any doubt who this harms more, we should look at Russia's and Parscale's reaction to the news. His logic is that it would hurt organizing but I didn’t consider that paid ads are the impetus for online organizing. The guy who heads Twitter is a crypto-Nazi. This is a move to help Trump.
