What!? My grandparents on my mother side went from rural NC to NYC. NYC is not a place you move to if you can't hack it elsewhere. My grandparents.. as well their kids and grandkids regularly went back to the south to visit and always showed love to the region.


I never heard this take before, I think most ppl who have experience with both the north and south will say it's easier to live in the south. The south is easier live in off of COL alone.
