How does destroying twitters brand lead to more people signing up? Especially when there are more competitors rising. Yeah, threads fell off right now but it's recoverable.
Hell, bluesky is recoverable. Spoutible just needs the right people over. Etc.
But most importantly, outside of that, there's seemingly been a growing amount of people that have rejected Twitter and all alternatives. Either going back to Instagram and just mainly posting photos or even back to niche shyt like Tumblr.
Your take is that it makes sense.
He never planned to actually be forced to purchase twitter. All his moves have been reactionary not a well thought out plan. It’s very easy to see.
