I wouldn’t say he has an undeniable classic. Which is why his name doesn’t get mentioned among the goats. Tons of classic songs and features tho. Busta is a pillar of the culture
This is how I feel

Like I think genesis is a personal classic

He is consistent as hell though

I would say no but like others said a ton of classic songs. I put together a playlist not long ago and Bustas catalog doesn’t get talked about enough. I also wouldn’t be mad if anyone felt like some of the first few albums were classic to them.

The Coming is high/exceptional quality music from beginning to end. The only misstep you can even say it has is Keep It Moving, but even that isn't bad, just lower quality than the rest. The album is energetic, boom bap, street, commercial appeal, and lyrical. While it doesn't have a single of the magnitude that his later albums would be known for, at that time, it shouldn't even matter for Busta.

It's a shame he doesn't really perform anything from that album.

People who say yes (or even those who say no) what makes the suggested albums classic? Just wondering how we use that Classic term sometimes.

i think big bang theory is his best album.

doesn't have the monster singles like his earlier work. but the production on that album... :whew:. top to bottom arguably the most consistent of his career.
Probably my favorite from him as well, and touch it was a pretty big single when it came out

My "classics" are always based on the highest or extremely high quality of music, from beginning to end, and somewhat of a cohesive feel. I don't judge it on anything but the music.
